SOLICITORS REGULATION AUTHORITY (SRA)

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) regulates more than 100,000 solicitors in England and Wales, as well as registered European and foreign lawyers.

Established in January 2007, SRA is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society of England and Wales. It sets the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test specification and the assessment is administered exclusively by SRA - authorised test providers. The SRA determines the QLTT head(s) or subject area(s) that a candidate must successfully complete to qualify as a solicitor of England and Wales.
